Pregnancy Hotline

Regardless to what many people assume, they're simply not ready to be adults. The problem is we all go through that teenage phase where we think we are. Suddenly we know more than everyone else. That extensive journey of a whopping 16 or 17 years has made us rich with knowledge and wisdom beyond our parents' grasp.

Ha, what a joke! Sadly this pseudo adulthood leads many teenagers down the wrong path. Before they now it, they're in tears and calling the pregnancy hotline to see if they're in trouble or not. Don't let this happen to your child! While it's good to have resources at our disposal, it's even better to not need them.

Back when I was in high school, I saw countless ads on television for the pregnancy hotline. Often they appealed to a teenage audience. Although we redundantly teach our children about steering clear of sexual activity, some kids have great difficulty heeding the warning.

Well imagine this; you decide to have sex while still in high school, you're sixteen years old, and your boyfriend is ready and willing. You then find out that you're pregnant, but the boyfriend wants no part of your situation. After all, he's done and wants out of there.

What do you do now? On top of this, your parents say you cannot keep the child because you're too young, and if you decide to do so, they will have no part of you. What does one do in this situation? It's obviously past the point of calling a pregnancy hotline for answers concerning a late period.

I only ask, because this is the exact story of a friend I had back in high school. Not the girl! I got the scoop from the guy, whom I didn't remain friends with after this. I think the moral of the story is teenagers are too young and callow for adult relationships involving sex. They never turn out well.

Say hello to the pregnancy hotline on the web. Yes indeed, just like every other concept and business known to man, things have been converted to the Internet. If you are in need of information or assistance regarding pregnancy, maybe it's time you gave the pregnancy hotline a shot. A friendly voice is only a mouse click away. Don't wait until it's too late.
